Erythritol can be found naturally in pears, grapes, melons and other fruits. It is about 70% as sweet as sugar, but has almost no calories and no impact on blood-sugar levels*. It also helps give our granulated products a crunchy feel.
Mimicking nature
Our Erythritol comes from a fermentation process using non-GMO corn mimicking the natural fermentation that produces Erythritol in the wild. The resulting Erythritol is then purified, dried and sieved, resulting in crunchy, great tasting crystals.
*Consumption of foods/drinks containing Erythritol instead of sugar induces a lower blood glucose rise after their consumption compared to sugar-containing foods/drinks.
