Viva la Sweetener

Our blue agave grows throughout Mexico’s high-altitude landscape. Better known for its starring role in tequila, agave is a delicious plant that we harvest to sweeten foods and beverages—boozy and non-alcoholic alike.

A Simple Trip From Desert To Dessert

We simply craft our blue agave nectar in a way that honors and preserves its quality.

  • STEP 1

    Harvesting

Blue agave plants are harvested at the root and outer leaves are cut away by machete, leaving behind the heart of the plant.

  • STEP 2

    Pressing

Agave hearts are ground and pressed to remove the sweet nectar. The nectar is then heated to a low temperature to increase its sweetness.

  • STEP 3

    Filtration

After heating, the nectar is filtered, leaving a delicious, sweet liquid to be used for whatever needs a touch of sweetness.
